Yuko is a warm and sensitive jazz singer based in London specialising in Brazilian music. She sings a wide variety of music from wonderful jazz standards and blues through to contemporary and laid back Bossa Nova tunes, which she mostly sings in Portuguese.

SomBras bring the sophisticated yet warm sound of Brazil to your events. 

We perform a wide variety of music from beautiful samba and Bossa Nova tunes by legendary Brazilian composers, such as Gilberto Gil, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Caetano Veloso and Djavan through to contemporary Brazilian music by Hermeto Pascoal and Luciana Souza. 

With Yuko's Masters in jazz from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, she takes her jazz approach to the Brazilian music.

We are highly experienced musicians and have performed at some renowned jazz clubs including Vortex jazz club and The Spice of Life Soho and numerous events all over the world from São Paulo, Tokyo to London.
